Every piece created by Petals of Poppy is handled with meticulous attention to detail through a careful, multi-step process that takes time & artistry. From the first stage of preservation to the last, each design is tended to with a detail-oriented eye.

Our frequently asked questions, answered.

  • For fresh flowers typically within 2-3 days of your event. We will also work with flowers you've had air dried in your closet for years! So, any time you're ready to preserve them, you can get in touch.

  • We do recreations and can create your bouquet from that special day and preserve it!

  • Timelines can vary depending on the complexity of your piece.

    Flower preservation is tedious and time consuming but it’s all for the best reasons. Typically you want to plan for a minimum of 9-12 months. And yes, that may seem long but the wait is worth every moment of the process. Everything is unique and handmade FOR you.

  • Keep your pieces out of direct sunlight and moisture. Display them in a cool, dry place and dust gently. For jewelry, avoid water and harsh cleaners. With simple care, your preserved florals will last for years.

  • As long as you take care of your piece  your flowers will last forever! But be aware that your blooms can fade overtime. We seldom use color correction tendencies and we don't use any dyes or preservatives/chemicals on your flowers. We love what Mother Nature does to the aging of the flowers and we believe it tells a beautiful story. Make sure to keep your flowers away from direct sunlight and away from any humid areas (for example the bathroom). If you follow those steps, your flowers should stay around forever.
